Goose: So it turns out, Anderson has been making a game. Okay for those of you who remember me, well, congratulations, I guess.

Molly: Woah! I cant believe we're back here hosting for this blog, after all these long years. ...

 

Goose: Anderson wasn't joking about the abandonment. But we're here, and with news! He's been working on this third game, about Sovaz! It's where all the Kahmlan Battle and Mission of 1999 and the best stuff took place!

The story takes place hundreds of years ago though, so none of us will make it, as far as I can see, but there will be refferences and key words from the Toby Coreman 3 novel released a short while ago.

Molly: What about the music? Anderson mentioned music!

Goose: Unfortunately, not this time. He said that takes way too time. A shame, but can't be helped. He did say music wasn't his best trade. Oh, and sound effects will also be not handcrafted.

Molly: Anything else about the game?

Goose: Apparently it's not English, the whole text. Its Japanese, so it will be a big shift from the novels I'm sure! Apparently, on non Japan PCs it can cause problems, like glitched texts. Big warning here!

 

Goose: And there's the visuals! It reused a lot of the old contents from past projects, so I heard development will be a lot faster, or as least, was fast. As new maps are being created, there will be more new map tiles and pictures and battle effects required, so sadly things can very likely slow down all over again.

 

Molly: But hopefully not this time! I won't let him stop now! This is a big lore enhancement we've all been waiting for!

Goose: That's right! and I've heard a rumor about a new site dedicated for the game, with character introductions, dev logs, update news, and possibly more!!

So will it happen? Will we truly get a game as we did the novel? There's only one way to find out! ...

It is done. I want to thank all of you who have been reading the story. It has been a long 18 years, and I have finally fulfilled my wish and therefore this page will be granted a Ultimate Dream tag. The story may not be touched for a long time, or it may have more edits or even a bonus chapter, but I should compile all of the done files in a new page.

Maybe the next question will be, what will I make next? I do have more stories in the back of my head that needs to be materialized out. i used to make music a bit, so that's also a possibility. But first I will draw a color illustration for this story.

That being said, The other question will be, what about this blog? I haven't posted things regularly, but things are worse off now. The site can come to a permanent halt at this point, and blogs are not a thing since forever, I should have known.

In case if it does, I would like to thank all who have been enjoying the stuff here. Really. Thank you. That is all I can say. I hope it won't be a goodbye, but none can guarantee the future. For now, I will smile a bit.

Part 11 may be the last. I want to thank all of you who may have read and waited patiently all this time. I think it's halfway done, and once it does, I can finally finish what I started, like over 15 years back.

All of the older parts are still getting updated and changed. Once part 11 is done, I will pile that and the other parts up in one post or a new page somewhere. ... Finally, I will be free. But I will still come back from time to time and may add a few new things.

Comin' to the Rescue! Fifth Retake

AndersonT : For some unknown reason, I decided to remake the infamous novel A New Tale of Toby Coreman Episode 3. For those who want a recap or a summary, you can use the Dōa-nu'tz tag to browse through all those nice abyss black history.
So to sum it up it's basically

• First original version. Written on scraps. Undeniably crappy everything.
• Second Brown notebook version. Enhanced, added fillers, and richer story.
• Third Microsoft Word version. Great improvements in sentence structure Compared to the first version. (its actually still terrible) And more extensions but story couldn't go farther than 2nd version.
• Fourth version but it's more like 3.5. Mainly spelling and grammar fixes. Typed out all the unreached 2nd version, and a brief after story and spoilers.

And this is the fifth version. In this version I would like to do a few things

• Update the whole Dōa-nu'tz lore. That means changing lots of names, and even parts of stories to make it match with other newer stories.
• Over enhancing the scenarios. Some places simply needs more description because they are not pictures. And even then I won't do justice compared to pro writers.
• Deep characters. In order to make a deep story, you need deep characters! What I should do is, just get a very basic idea, and from there, branch out details. For example, throw in a character in some situation. What will he do and why. bring two characters, and imagine what will happen. Be creative and combine everything to anything. You don't make characters story! Characters make your story! ... maybe
• The whole plot. Actually it's too late at this point. Change the story, and the Dōa-nu'tz won't be a Dōa-nu'tz. At least the deep characters can fill some plot holes.
• Actually END THE STORY all the way to the end. No further explanation needed.

Mission of 1999

Anderson.T : Surprisingly, we never mentioned that other story. It's basically have the opening clone of the first Dōa-nu'tz story. And then that same overcrowding friends, new places, sneaking inside enemy territories, and of course we can't forget that fencing at a needlessly large room.
Yes, it really is a clone of Dōa-nu'tz episode1. It could have been around 2007 when I decided to draw this really long story. It became shorter than I hoped, and by the time I finished, I didn't have the enthusiasm like I should have. So story and quality is pretty much trash.

Goose : Actually that comic we've released, Revolt of Van-Haydez, was based on this story. It was a bit after this when Anderson was more serious at creating a proper plot.
Anderson.T : A little too late I know, so that's one reason why I didn't want to post all that comic and everything. But what done is done. I won't post all this comic for now, but I will show you the rework of this story. Well, it's more of a draft.
